Self Introduction
Attached is a picture of a little boy eating a sandwich, with lunch time
coming up in one hour I think that sounds pretty good!
If I were to write a book about myself I would probably name it "Out of Control" because as more time passes and life progresses I realize how much in life is out of my control.
One of my favorite jokes is a knock knock joke-Knock knock....who's there?....Hach....Hach who?....Do you need a tissue :)
I privately tutor students English reading and writing skills ranging from 1st grade to 6th grade. Before this I taught first grade, seventh grade and tenth grade. I am in my fourth semester in the Teacher Education program.
Since I teach English now I am familiar with teaching language arts. However now I am teaching Israeli children English as a second language so it is a bit different than the traditional ELA classroom.
What I know about new literacies is based on the courses I took last semester EDLA 615 adn EDLA 635.
I am very excited about learning to identify and help correct learning difficulties. I hope that I will gain as much as possible from the assignments and be able to complete them in a stress-free fashion.
